The Genomics Research Center (GRC) at the Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions (Assistant and Associate Research Fellow) with focus on developing and applying instrument innovations, omics analyses, and genomics platforms in a broad sense. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in tying those technological developments to biomedical research and application.
Established in 2003, GRC aims to uncover new biology, develop innovative diagnostic tools, and devise novel therapeutic strategies through deciphering the key gene-disease associations. Over the years, GRC has established a critical reputation in biomedical research and technology development. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure includes advanced mass spectrometry for proteomics, NMR and X-ray facility for structure determination, microarray and high-throughput genome sequencer for genomics research, and cell sorter and microscopy for cell biology.
Candidates holding a Ph.D., MD/ Ph.D., or MD with an outstanding record of research are invited to submit a curriculum vitae, a statement of future research plans, and contact information for three references. Applicants at the Associate level should also submit a synopsis of past research accomplishments and funding record. Junior candidates should demonstrate exceptional potential to develop an innovative, externally funded research program and should arrange for three letters of reference to be sent independently.
