Purpose of the role:
As a member of Asia regional marketing team, this role will work closely with Greater China management and sales team to take initiative to learn and understand products, customers and market landscape; to design marketing campaigns, both offline and online; to ensure smooth and timely delivery of campaigns according to marketing plan. This role manages all aspects of marketing for Greater China market.

Key tasks:
1. Generating Greater China marketing campaign plan and timelines; managing allocated marketing budget
2. Working with sales team and regional marketing team for planning and delivering marketing events; supporting key account managers on designing and delivering VIP events
3. Responsible for planning and maintaining China social media accounts and digital campaigns
4. Working with regional marketing team to create marketing collateral; act as a contact point for China sales team to produce sales-support materials 5. Collecting leads and reporting marketing event outcomes; collating China market feedback for product development
6. Ensuring Macmillan branding consistency by guidance from corporate;
7.Managing vendors including agencies, design and production houses.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Education or other related majors

Skills/knowledge:
1. Proficient in English; strong writing skill
2. A proactive and effective communicator – strong communicative skills with multiple stakeholders and confidence to facilitate discussion across teams
3. Capable of and comfortable with multitasking; able to work under pressure; Strong organizational and planning skills
4. Creative, independent, with strong execution
5. A team player
6. Digital savvy, strong in content generation for events and social media

Experience:
1. At least 5-year proven experience in marketing, digital or events management
2. Knowledge of/experience in education, publishing industry preferred, but not essential
3. Expertise working with sales and product team, commercial savvy, result-driven
4. Experience in working in an international matrix corporation
