Postdoctoral Fellows in Regenerative Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine
The Bhutani Lab (https://biox.stanford.edu/about/people/affiliated-faculty/nidhi-bhutani-assistant-professor-orthopaedic-surgery) in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Stanford School of Medicine has 2 immediate openings for highly creative and motivated postdoctoral fellows with a broad interest in Stem cell biology and Regenerative medicine. The specific research projects are focused on studying epigenetic regulation of skeletal diseases (cartilage and bone) and for understanding stem cell function in skeletal growth and regeneration. Another focus area is tissue engineering and generation of biomimetic 3D tissue models that reflect the endogenous complexity.
Applicants must be PhD (cell, molecular biology or stem cell biology or bioengineering) with a good publication record. Excellent cell and molecular biology skills preferred. Experience with epigenetic analyses and deep-sequencing techniques is a plus as is small animal handling and experience with human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC).
Interested applicants should send a CV and cover letter outlining research experience and interests to Dr. Nidhi Bhutani (email@example.com).
