The lab of Dr. Kolja Eppert at McGill University (Faculty of Medicine) in Montreal, Canada and the McGill University Health Center (Montreal Children’s Hospital) has a postdoctoral fellow position available with projects to model the development of pediatric and adult acute myeloid leukemia and to investigate the molecular regulation of stem cells.
Applicants should have a PhD in fields such as hematopoiesis, leukemia or other cancers, stem cell biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology. Experience in leukemia or hematopoiesis is a plus. Applicants should have expertise in some or all of these methods: molecular biology techniques, animal models, bioinformatics, tissue culture, xenotransplantation. Ability to communicate in written and spoken English is required.
