The laboratory of Dr. Yohannes T Ghebre, Department of Radiation Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, USA, is seeking motivated postdoctoral candidates to help study the pathobiologic effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in vitro and in preclinical animal models in vivo.
Accordingly, we are recruiting talented postdocs with expertise in molecular, cell biological and preclinical studies to investigate signaling pathways that are involved in tissue inflammation including inflammation of the lungs and skin.
- Molecular and cell culture studies
- In vivo experiments in various animal models including murine models of cancer and tissue inflammation/fibrosis induced by chemotherapy (e.g. bleomycin) and ionizing radiation (e.g. X- rays)
The candidate is expected to generate work that has the potential to be published in high impact factor journals, and be presented at local, national and international research meetings.
