National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China (NCNST), established in December 2003, is co-founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Ministry of Education as an institution dedicated to fundamental and applied research in nanoscience and technology, especially those with important potential applications.

The journal that published the most papers on nanoscience and nanotechnology, Nanoscale, was co-founded by the Center and the Royal Society of Chemistry Publishing Group.

Duties and Qualifications

1. “CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program” Class B——Technician Talents

Duties: Professorate senior engineer; Applicants must have the ability and experience to lead the team to host national or CAS giant engineering project, work on high-level technological breakthrough, solve the difficulties of engineering technologies, or make significant technical renovations and transformation of large-scale equipment or devices, develop independent research and offer the excellent technological supporting and guaranty for research; also applicants shall guide and cultivate young engineering talents.

Qualifications: Applicants shall be the young and mid-age elites who master the key technology and have at least three year work experience about research and development of engineering technology at oversea or about giant scientific platforms construction, equipment or devices development, etc. Applicants are required to solve the key technological problems, drive the technological innovation and have top-flight achievement already.
Candidates with experience in the following areas are preferred: MRI-guided diagnostics/imaging systems, Application of nanomaterials on cardiovascular diseases, Microfabricated devices for biological applications, Biomaterials and nanotechnology, Nanomedicine.

2. Thousand Talents Program

Duties: Associate Professor/Professor. Applicants shall master the international advanced academic thoughts and technologies, propose important innovative ideas, develop the new research area energetically, endeavor and undertake national technological tasks, make achievements with the agreement from the domestic and international peers and set up a strong innovative ability team.

Qualifications: The applicants under the age of 40 years old shall possess the PhD degree granted by prestigious overseas university and have at least three years research work experience; or possess the PhD degree in China and have at least five years teaching or research work experience. The applicants must be official staff or faculty at teaching or research position at prestigious overseas university or research institution before back to China. As the elites among the peers in certain field, the professionals shall have the potential of becoming leading figures in the future. The applicants generally are required to have no full-time position domestically, if not, the full-time job must be obtained in one year. Applicants are required to work more than three year at a full-time position domestically after joining the program. PhD students graduated in current year who have outstanding achievements or other applicants who have significant achievements can be recruited in exceptional cases, not limited by the age or work experience.

3. “CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program” Class C

Duties: Associate Professor/Professor; Applicants should master the international advanced academic thoughts and technologies, propose important innovative ideas, develop the new research area energetically, endeavor and undertake national technological tasks, make achievements with the agreement from the domestic and international peers and set up a strong innovative ability team.

Qualifications:Applicants shall possess a PhD degree and have studied or worked at overseas prestigious universities or institutions at least three years, outstanding applicants could not be limited by the age or work experience. The young professionals shall be elite in curtain area and have significant innovative achievements; also have strong potential of technological innovation and good teaming and collaboration ability; No more than five years after PhD graduation before apply.

Preferential Policies and Treatments

Awardees of “Thousand Talents Program”, “CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program” could be allowed to have sufficient research budget granted by government or Chinese Academy of Science: NCNST shall assistant the awardees in research funding, lab construction, team recruitment, and graduate student recruitment; Also NCNST offers the competitive compensation agreement wage, special talents subsidy, social insurance, housing public accumulation funds, housing subsidy, commercial medical insurance, good medical condition and other living benefits.; we also help the awardees to settle Beijing Hukou, children shall prioritize to the kindergarten, primary school and middle school near Zhongguancun area; and we offer one temporary housing near Zhongguancun.

国家纳米科学中心诚邀海外学子携手申报青年千人计划

国家纳米科学中心(以下简称“纳米中心”)是中国科学院与教育部联合共建并具有独立法人资格的全额拨款直属事业单位,定位于国家纳米科技研究基地和支撑技术体系,主要学科方向包括:

1)纳米结构的系统和集成技术
2)纳米技术标准化和纳米标准物质的研制
3)纳米结构的生物学效应和安全性研究
4)纳米制造的相关基础研究
5)具有重大意义的纳米结构制备和关键分析技术

纳米中心现有职工280余人,博士后60余人,研究生400余名,另有联合培养研究生400余名。由中心牵头承办的中国科学院大学纳米科学与技术学院于2017年正式成立,旨在打造我国纳米科学与技术领域的新型科教融合学院。现根据科研需要,诚聘海外优秀青年学子携手申报国家青年千人计划。

01. 招聘方向

纳米中心拟招收具备物理、化学、材料、生物、医学、药学和理论计算等学科的领军人才。具体方向包括:

● 功能导向纳米材料的规模制备及其应用

● 纳米系统与宏观体系集成的界面研究

● 纳米结构生物学效应、检测与安全性

● 纳米测量技术与标准的基础研究

● 纳米加工技术

02. 申报条件

● 申请人年龄不超过40周岁,一般应在海外知名高校取得博士学位,并有3年及以上海外科研工作经历;在国内取得博士学位的,应在海外从事教学或研究工作5年及以上。

● 回国前在海外知名高校、科研机构有正式教学或科研职位;系所从事科研领域同龄人中的拔尖人才,有成为该领域学术或技术带头人的发展潜力。

● 申报人一般应未全职在国内工作,已经在国内工作的,回国时间应在1年以内。引进后要求全职在国内工作3年以上。

● 对博士在读期间已取得突出研究成果的应届毕业生,或其他有突出成绩的申报人,可以突破年龄、任职年限等限制,破格引进。

03. 科研条件

纳米中心项目经费充足,同时是中科院纳米先导和卓越中心的依托单位,现建有完备的纳米检测、微纳加工等设备群,科研工作实现“拎包入住”,同时为您科研工作提供以下支持:

● 国家匹配200-300万元科研经费资助;

● 中科院匹配200万人才专项经费支持;

● 纳米中心匹配不少于100万元科研启动经费;

● 纳米中心每年提供研究生招生指标不少于2名;

● 纳米中心在团队组建、办公、仪器修购、实验空间等方面给予优先支持。

04. 科研环境

纳米中心自2003年12月成立以来,经过近15年的发展,学术影响和科研成果产出呈良好态势,科研经费收入和科研产出稳步增长,在最新的基本科学指标数据库(ESI)和“自然指数”(NI)排名中,纳米中心分别位列中科院各所第四和第七位,其中,在“自然指数”(NI)排名中,纳米中心稳步上升,已连续三年进入中科院前十名。

05. 职业发展

纳米中心高度重视青年人才的引进与培养工作,通过提供宽松的学术环境,搭建ChinaNano等学术平台,为青年人才的成长创造了良好的成长环境。根据中科院百人计划20周年统计数据,中科院百人计划入选“杰青”的比例为24.4%,同期中心相应比例为50%,走在中科院新建所的前列,同时在近年的“优青”申报中,中心青年科技人才也是逐步脱颖而出。
