Area of research:
Scientific / postdoctoral posts
The Innovation Campus Future Mobility (ICM) and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) would like to give an excellent young scientist with an own group at KIT the opportunity to make his or her own mark in science at an early stage.
Within the Innovation Campus Future Mobility (ICM) the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Stuttgart pool their competences in research and innovation. For sustainable development and their networking the ICM offers an across locations and interdisciplinary working young research group for each which are closely networked and complement their thematic priorities and to be coordinated within the overall context of the ICM.
The key point of research within the group “emission-free mobility” is the vision of a very-efficient and long-term stability fuel cell technology used in mobile applications operate with high dynamic range and power density. Digitalised processes in the areas of development, product planning, design, production, operation and recycling of low-emission, energy-efficient fuel cell drives ensure their economic working. A successful market penetration and increase in competitiveness of hydrogen-based mobility concepts is created through the development and use of additive manufacturing processes of prototype.
Funding will be provided for an interdisciplinary young researcher group which is largely independent of research and identify and develop new disruptive technologies. Working away from usual concepts and technology paths is what is desired. The institutes involved offers appropriate conditions and facilities.
