In the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg and the University Council, we are currently hiring a

W3-Full professor of solid-state chemistry,

effective 01.10.2020.

Your research focus should be in current solid-state chemistry, preferably the preparative chemistry of inorganic materials, and provide the best possible fit for the department’s research activities in chemical materials science and, ideally, in chemical biology. You will continually intensify collaboration with related disciplines, especially by extending the existing partnerships with the Departments of Physics and Biology. We expect you to participate in our existing and planned collaborative research projects. We are seeking a personality with a strong publication and third-party funding record who can represent the field of solid-state chemistry in all study programmes offered by the Department of Chemistry. This comprises in particular the Nanoscience study programme.
