The Faculty of Agriculture of the Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn invites applications for the
W3 Professorship “Plant Breeding“
We aim to fill this permanent position with a candidate with an excellent, internationally visible and future-oriented research profile in the area of quantitative genetics of functional traits in crop plants. The professorship is essential for the excellence cluster ‘PhenoRob’. Moreover, the professorship will be integrated in regional research networks such as the “Bioeconomy Science Center” and the “DFG research training group GRK 2064: Water use efficiency and drought stress responses”. The successful acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects and interest in coordinating research programs are expected. The applicant will teach plant breeding in B.Sc.- und M.Sc.-study courses in German and English language.
