The Agricultural Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn invites applications for a permanent position
W2-Professorship „Food Safety“
starting as soon as possible.
We are looking to recruit a candidate with expertise in a topical, future-oriented field of food safety. Potential research areas are treatment and assessment of food, assessment of food constituents, or modelling approaches with respect to safety aspects of food consumption in populations. Research areas shall complement the existing fields of research at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the Agricultural Faculty.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to engage in collaborations with research groups at the Agricultural Faculty and the University, as well as with national and international research institutions with respect to existing and prospective research networks.
Teaching is required in the B.Sc.-program Nutritional and Food Sciences and in the M.Sc.-programms Food Technology (prospective Molecular Food Technology) and Human Nutrition (prospective Nutritional Sciences).
The conditions of employment are according to § 36 Hochschulgesetz NRW.
