The jobs are embedded in the COLD-project (“Climate sensitivity of glacial landscape dynamics”) funded by the European Research Council and headed by Jun. Prof. Dr. Dirk Scherler. The COLD project group is composed of a dynamic team of five researchers from a diverse range of backgrounds, who investigate the interaction between climate change, landscape evolution, and glacial dynamics. The student assistants will be active contributors to the project, and therefore we solicit applications from excellent students with geoscience, chemistry, physics, or related backgrounds. Though not required, it is strongly desired that the students combine the position with a bachelor’s or master’s thesis at a later stage.
