Position Description
The Department of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a basic scientist, tenure-track faculty position at all academic ranks. Applicants should have a track record of exceptional scientific discoveries. Our highly collaborative and dynamic department has a long history of pathbreaking research in areas such as DNA repair, tumor hypoxia, carcinogenesis, and cancer drug development. We now seek creative and innovative candidates actively engaged in basic cancer research.

The successful candidate will be expected to establish a cutting edge and high impact research program in the area of cancer biology, with robust extramural funding. Teaching activities will include participation in the Radiobiology Course for residents and medical students. Applicants should hold PhD or MD/PhD degrees. We encourage physician scientists having a demonstrated commitment to cancer research to apply. MD/PhD applicants should be board certified/board eligible in radiation oncology.
