The NYU Grossman School of Medicine announces its search for the Co-Director, Division of Precision Medicine in the Department of Medicine. This physician scientist will join Aris Tsirigos PhD, Director of the Applied Bioinformatics Laboratories in the Institute of Computational Medicine to lead an expanding program in translational research and data science across the NYU Langone Health system.
Qualified Associate or Full Professor candidates must have an MD, MD-MPH or MD-PhD degree and a strong research track record of extramurally-funded, innovative research, with a focus on clinical informatics and data science research. Board certification in a specialty of Medicine is preferred. The individual will be expected to lead their own research programs as well as foster collaborations throughout NYU Langone Health.
The successful candidate will be supported with a generous start-up package, and have access to a wide range of state-of-the-art core facilities providing services in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, cell imaging, flow cytometry, and pathology across a unique health system spanning private, public, and government-funded hospital settings. The Co-Director will also have the opportunity to participate in one or more graduate programs in the Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences.
