The Norris Cotton Cancer Center (NCCC) at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth seek outstanding applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position within the Cancer Biology and Therapeutics Research Program of NCCC, one of 51 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. Primary academic appointment in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology is anticipated, although primary appointment in other academic departments within the Geisel School of Medicine may be considered based on optimal alignment of the candidate’s research interests. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative research program in translational cancer research, focused on developing, validating, or advancing novel therapeutic strategies or drug targets for cancer in innovative, translationally relevant models. Individuals that use modern genomic, genetic, pharmacological, bioinformatic, or other innovative approaches to achieve these research goals are encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates at senior ranks may also be considered.

Successful candidates are expected to develop and advance an independent research program and participate in graduate student teaching.
