Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Rare Disease

The Department of Biological Sciences ( seeks applicants for an endowed, junior chair Assistant Professor position in the Boler-Parseghian Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases ( Prospective candidates must conduct cutting-edge biomedical research, have a Ph.D. degree, postdoctoral experience with demonstrated research accomplishments. Candidates with research programs in rare diseases including, but not limited to, those in neurobiology, cancer and immunology are encouraged to apply. New faculty will contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching mission of the Department of Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous externally funded research program that complements an active interdisciplinary research community in the department and across the University.
