Introduction
Shanghai University of Sport (SUS), founded in November 1952, is the first university of its kind in China. In the fourth round of the national subject evaluation of the Ministry of Education, the Physical Education major received an A+, and ranked Top100 in the World’s Soft Science’s Global Sports Colleges and Universities. SUS was also selected as the first batch of “double first-class” construction universities and high-level local universities in Shanghai, China. SUS has several research centers, including the National Laboratory for Doping Testing Shanghai, the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Sports Science and Technology, and the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Human Sports Capability Development. In addition, SUS has the Orthopedics Hospital which can integrate medical treatment, teaching, and research. SUS offers doctoral degrees in Physical Education major covering 7 areas, including Sports Humanities and Sociology, Kinesiology, Traditional Ethnic Sports, Physical Education Training, Sports Management, Sports Engineering and Rehabilitation; 4 Master’s degrees in Sports, Psychology, Medical Technology, and Journalism; and 4 professional Master’s degrees in Sports, Tourism management, Arts, Journalism, and Communication. SUS is aiming to develop to a regular full-time institution with undergraduate and graduate in multidisciplinary coordinated studies.

The School of Kinesiology includes Department of Human Science, a Department of Sports Rehabilitation, and an Experimental Research and Teaching Center, along with 6 research centers (Sports Skills Research Center, Sports Rehabilitation Center, Molecular Biology Research Center, Sports Psychology Research Center, Shanghai Student Physical Health Research Center, and SPF Animal Laboratory). The School of Kinesiology offers 3 undergraduate majors in Kinesiology, Sports Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Therapy; 4 Master’s degrees in Kinesiology, Sports Engineering (self-established), Sports Rehabilitation and Medical Technology; 3 Doctoral degrees in Kinesiology, Sports Rehabilitation and Sports Engineering and 1 Post-doctoral mobile station. The School of Kinesiology now has more than 60 faculties including 1 Yangtze River Scholar, 4 Oriental Scholars, 1 Leading Talent in Shanghai, and 1 National Special Contribution Professor. The School of Kinesiology has been granted more than 44 million RMB from 4 projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, 24 projects from the Natural Science Foundation, 3 projects from the National Social Science Fund, and 35 provincial and ministerial projects and others so far, and published more than 550 articles as first author/corresponding author since 2015.

The School of Economic and Management currently has 37 full-time teachers, including 7 professors, 22 associate professors, 30 members of staff with a Ph.D. degree, and 18 people with one year or more overseas study experience. The school has 4 professional laboratories including the first VR virtual reality smart venue laboratory and sport event operation laboratory in China. Cooperative research institutions include “Sports Industry Research Base of the National General Administration of Sport”, “Shanghai International Racing Research Centre”, “Shanghai Sports Tourism Research Centre”, “Shanghai Sports Lottery Research Centre”, “Sports Industry Branch of the Chinese Sports Science Society”, relying on the “Sports Industry Development Research Institute” and “National Fitness Public Service Research Centre” as an important decision-making consulting platform of the Shanghai Municipal Government, promote teaching through research and lay a solid foundation for the economic management undergraduate programmes.

The School of Economic and Management not only attaches importance to the transformation of scientific research and scientific research achievements, is committed to playing the role of think tank, and actively undertakes the research topics of the country, relevant ministries and enterprises, and continuously strengthening international cooperation and exchange is also one of the important characteristics and advantages of its development. Since 2014, the school has cooperated with the University of Dublin, Victoria University, Sheffield Hallam University, Florida State University and other undergraduate double-degree programmes and the joint master-study programmes. Every year, it provides nearly 100 undergraduates to the well-known colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and other countries for a period of one month to six months of overseas study programs, while attracting a large number of long-term and short-term foreign students to study and exchange in our school.

Positions
1. Physical Therapy field
The Physical Therapy and sports rehabilitation teaching team has 4 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, and 4 Lecturers. The team members have diverse educational backgrounds, and include professors who have been educated in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, five rehabilitation professors with WCPT certification, and professors who have senior Chinese medicine background. Many clinical core courses are taught by these professors, such as Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy, Therapeutic exercises, Neurological Physical Therapy, and other clinical rehabilitation cores courses, as well as traditional Chinese medicine courses such as Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Acupuncture. The team is currently focusing on applying for the WCPT accreditation education program. SUS Orthopedic Hospital is the clinical rehabilitation teaching placement for this teaching team.
Position 1: Leading Expert (2-4)
Preferred Qualifications: 1. A Ph.D. degree or an MD degree from an accredited institution is required; 2. Applicants should have productive research activities, including, but not limited to, publications and conference presentations, and grant writing.
Position 2: Faculty (4-6)
Preferred Qualifications: 1. A Ph.D. degree or an MD degree from an accredited institution is required; 2. Applicants have successful teaching experiences of physical therapy courses at the undergraduate and graduate level; 3. Either of the following conditions:
(1) Doctoral degree from an accredited institution domestically and abroad. Those who have passed the “Chinese Physical Therapy Teachers Training Online Course by WCPT, 2015” are preferred;
(2) Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy domestically and abroad, and who are licensed physical therapist are preferred.
Position 3: Postdoc fellowship (1-3)
Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have: 1. PhD degree is obtained within the last 3 years; fresh graduates are given priority in consideration. 2. first author publication in peer-reviewed journal, strong publication record preferred. 2. applicant who have working experience in the field. 3. Strong communication and collaborative skills and an interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment.

2. Physical Fitness, Public Health and Preventive Medicine fields
The Physical Fitness teaching team has 4 Professors and 1 Associate professor. The team is one of the first batch of national-level excellent course teaching teams at SUS. The core courses of this team are Theories and Methods of Healthy Fitness Assessment, Sports Prescription and Sports Health Management. The team members are mainly engaged in research work on national physical health monitoring, student physical health monitoring, fitness evaluation system construction, full life cycle physical activity and health, physical activity epidemiology, and big data and physical health.

3. Kinesiology field
The Sports Nutrition teaching team, Sports Physiology teaching team, and Sports Anatomy teaching teams have 19 full-time faculties, including 7 Professors, 10 Associate Professors, and 2 Lecturers. Their researches focus on sports health promotion, sports and chronic disease prevention, etc. They also teach courses such as Sports Anatomy, Sports Physiology, Sports Biochemistry, and Sports Nutrition.

Hold a doctorate degree from a well-known foreign university, and can undertake all-English teaching of undergraduate basic courses and master / doctorate related courses in economics and management. Research directions include but are not limited to: sport management, finance, economics, statistics, marketing, organization and strategic management, management science, tourism management, etc.
