The Research Center of Humanitas Research Hospital, in partnership with Humanitas University, invites applications for a basic scientist or physician-scientist for a senior group leader position in the field of nutrition. Applicants should have a strong track record of scientific accomplishments with international recognition. Clinical activity in nutrition is desirable. We seek an outstanding investigator to join our research center with a focus on understanding key mechanisms of cellular metabolism with particular reference to metabolic disorders. The research center is equipped with newly developed laboratories and a wide range of state-of-the-art core facilities, including imaging, cytofluorimetry and sorting, genomics. New faculty members will be supported with competitive start-up packages and with the development of a new metabolomics facility. The candidate will also be asked to run the facility. The combination of a university, research center and hospital make the research center of Humanitas an ideal place for biomedical research.
