Technician needed for Translational Dermatology Laboratory
The Laboratory of Inflammatory Skin Diseases at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan is searching for a technician who will be a central part of a well-funded laboratory that concentrates on human skin studies. Job duties include immunohistochemistry, performing RNA extractions and purification from skin and blood tissues, RT-PCR. This is an opportunity to participate in cutting edge novel studies that will advance our understanding of inflammatory skin diseases.
Prior lab experience is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals with knowledge of immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR, RNA Seq, tissue culture and other molecular biology techniques. Our work is high-pace and cutting edge, with the goal of significantly impacting medical diseases.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred but not required for applicants with vast experience.
