Field for Structural Molecular Biology (new team), RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research
RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research views the life of an individual, from birth to death, as a dynamic process of development, maintenance and failure of complex systems of molecules, cells and organs.
In the field of structural and molecular biology, by combining methods such as cryo-electron microscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, it is now possible to move forward dynamic structural analyses to elucidate the essential biological functions. In order for our center to take the initiative in the global competition, we are seeking a laboratory team leader who has a broad perspective on structural and molecular biology and the ability to play a leading role and drive the field through development of basic technology and its application. This recruitment aims to strengthen especially the field of structural molecular biology using NMR, and seeks candidates who have professional expertise and knowledge in NMR, as well as experience in organizing large-scale collaborative projects.
