Scientist/Senior Scientist, Antibody Engineering, Genentech Research

We are seeking a talented Scientist/Senior Scientist to focus on antibody engineering in the Genentech Research and Development (gRED) Department of Antibody Engineering, where we discover and engineer life-changing antibody drugs through pioneering science and technology.

The successful candidate will work with dynamic and highly motivated teams to drive the development of antibody therapeutics for unmet medical needs. This role will require creativity and forward-thinking approaches to develop technologies for Genentech’s future in antibody engineering by establishing a strong group and by establishing productive collaborations across the organization.

Exceptionally strong leadership and communications skills are essential for the position, as this hire is expected to serve as a molecule or project team leader for various pipeline projects. Preferred individuals will embody the deep understanding of the challenges with the therapeutic areas, and passion for technology innovation to transform previously deemed “undruggable targets” to therapeutics.
