Within the scope of the work, a newly developed measuring principle is to be validated in order to better quantify and understand the mobility of lithium ions in electrolytes and separators. The interdisciplinary work is designed to gain an understanding of the new measurement method and to investigate the applicability and limitations of the new development. The method will be compared with complementary on-site measurement methods. In addition, it is planned to further develop the measurement design. The results will be compared with cell tests on current electrode materials. The latest electrode materials, separators and electrolyte materials will be investigated. The project will be carried out in close cooperation with an industrial partner investigating cell design and process engineering.
An occupation-accompanying doctorate is desired.
You have a university degree (Diplom (Uni)/Master) in chemistry or physics or related subjects (chemical engineering, chemical engineering or similar). You already have experimental experience in the laboratory and basic knowledge in electrochemistry. Furthermore, you will be able to work independently and reliably. Finally, you can communicate in German and English both orally and in writing. The laboratory language during work is German.
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
