Responsibilities
Hematopoiesis and Immunology Research:
The Alberola-Ila lab is hiring a Research Technician to assist in multidisciplinary research on development and function of immune cells. Duties include implementation and management of animal and tissue specimen analysis using tissue culture, flow cytometry, PCR. Animal work is required. Additional duties include data entry and analysis, assisting with lab maintenance, and participating in weekly lab meetings. Training will be provided.


Qualifications
BA/BS degree typically in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory experience. Should be familiar with lab techniques. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed experimental protocols. Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team. OMRF has mandated the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees, excluding those with an approved medical or religious accommodation, as a condition of employment.
