Applications are invited for a nine-month research support position (maternity cover) in the group of Madeline Lancaster at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK.

The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary research programme aimed at understanding brain development in cerebral organoids. Specifically, to assist researchers in the preparation of cerebral organoids and preparing and evaluating experiments under the
guidance of the group leader.

Applicants should have a degree in a relevant biological subject and experience of working with standard cell biology methods including cell culture. You should also have experience in data collection and interpretation, be highly motivated, collaborative and enjoy learning
new techniques.

The position is to start on the 2nd December or shortly thereafter.
