Area of research:
Collaboration in an inter- and transdisciplinary research project on the bioeconomy and structural change in the Rheinisches Revier as part of the Bioeconomy Science Center BioSC Development and implementation of a stakeholder-based approach which brings together quantitative methods of empirical social research with qualitative stakeholder analyses according to instructions by project management Development, implementation and evaluation of empirical analyses with focus especially on (agricultural) preference and decision structures and motivations as well as stakeholder dynamics Integration of the research into the project context Interdisciplinary cooperation with colleagues from the fields of economics, ecology, political science and bioeconomy Presentation of your scientific results at national and international conferences
Completed scientific university degree in the field of social sciences or agricultural economics Sound knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research Knowledge of multivariate analytical methods is desirable Good skills in written and spoken English Strong collaboration and communication skills given the team- and stakeholder-oriented research approach High flexibility and willingness to travel
