The selected candidate will work in one of the following Institutes:

IC ( is the oldest neurobiology research center in Spain. Along its more than 100 years of existence, renowned scientists and professionals have spread worldwide and contributed to the remarkable advancement of neurobiology. Today it is prepared to confront the future challenges and to maintain the leading role in neurobiological research in Spain, always keeping in mind that the final destination of knowledge is the well being of the society. Located at: Av. Dr. Arce, 37, 28002 Madrid (SPAIN).

IN ( provides laboratories, equipment and technical personnel for neurobiological research. Its research groups employ a wide variety of techniques covering the fields of molecular and cellular biology, genetics and physiology. Located at: Avenida Santiago Ramon y Cajal, s/n, 03550 Sant Joan d’Alacant, Alicante (SPAIN).

CBM ( is internationally recognized for its multidisciplinary research in different fields of Biology and Biomedicine. Since its foundation in 1975, under the scientific counselling of the Nobel prize winner Severo Ochoa, the CBMSO has performed a pivotal role in fostering state of the art research in Molecular Biology. It is now organised in 5 complementary scientific departments that cover different aspects of Molecular Biomedicine: Cell Biology and Immunology, Virology and Microbiology, Development and Regeneration, Molecular Neurobiology and Genome Dynamics and Function.
