We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral bioinformatician with expertise in analysis of genomic and transcriptomic data to join an exciting project hosted by the Division of Infection and Immunity at UCL and funded by a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award to Professor Mahdad Noursadeghi, with the aim of identifying the mechanisms by which genetically encoded differences in immune responses influence the outcome of infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

This post combines innovative molecular and system level assessments of in vivo human immune responses in Tuberculosis using genomic data sets, bulk tissue transcriptomics, single cell sequencing and T cell receptor sequencing/repertoire analysis.

The post holder will benefit from a critical mass of expertise in immunology, pathogen biology and bioinformatics at UCL and through collaborators at the University of Oxford and the Roslin Institute.
