The Department of Data Sciences at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) seeks a postdoctoral fellow in translational bioinformatics, to work with Drs. Nikhil Munshi and Mehmet Samur on bioinformatics projects within the outstanding Multiple Myeloma program at DFCI. The position offers excellent scientific training opportunities in a highly stimulating and interdisciplinary environment involving close interactions between computational scientists, medical oncologists and basic scientists. Of particular interest to the lab are the clonal evolution of the cancer, single cell genomics and epigenomics.

Responsibilities:
All projects are data-driven and highly integrative. Your role will be to develop and apply advanced computational methods for genomics research, large-scale data integration and analysis of sequencing data from novel technologies such as WGS, single cell DNA / RNA sequencing, Mint-ChIP, ATACseq. The appointed postdoctoral fellow will work side-by-side with experimentalists and will have opportunities to validate computational findings using state of art wet lab experiments.

Qualifications:
• Applicants should have a strong quantitative background and hold a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics or Biostatistics.
• All applicants should have good communication and excellent programming skills (e.g. R, Python).
