The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £37,412 to £40,568 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
The candidate will work in a very international and highly motivated, well-financed surrounding with most modern equipment. You will work on Fondation Leducq (https://www.plaqomics.com) and BHF-funded projects. The post is full-time for 2 years with a possibility for prolongation (after evaluation) at Professor Mayr’s group at the School of Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences.
The cardiovascular proteomics research group is a state-of-the-art laboratory and has the latest mass spectrometry equipment at its disposal (www.vascular-proteomics.com). The project will take advantage of proteomics approaches in combination with in vivo models and non-coding RNA measurements in clinical samples to investigate the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease.
