As a R&D Specialist in Neurophysiology, you will develop nutritional interventions promoting brain health. One of your main activities will be to develop and lead highly collaborative research projects to identify nutritional interventions to support brain health across lifespan.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead highly collaborative research projects to identify nutritional interventions to support healthy brain metabolism and aging
  • Integrate scientific knowledge with business, intellectual property and regulatory constraints to identify research directions relevant to product innovation
  • Lead the design, implementation and interpretation of in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies
  • Work with clinical neuroscientists to design human intervention studies
  • Contribute to scientific communication material, patents, and peer-reviewed publications

Required Profile

  • Neurobiologist with PhD and 3+ years postdoctoral research experience
  • Deep expertise in brain metabolism, brain aging, or age-related brain disorders, demonstrated with high impact publications
  • Extensive experience with the design of in vivo experiments to study the molecular, cellular, and physiological aspects of mammalian brain metabolism, brain aging, or age-related brain disorders
  • Expertise in nutrition and nutritional interventions is an asset
  • Fluent in English, any other language would be a plus
