The Radiation Oncology Department at MSK treats more than 10,000 new patients each year. There is a growing need to integrate immune-oncology approaches with radiation-based therapies. We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist/Immunologist with an MD or MD/PhD to join our Manhattan site.
Radiation Oncologist/Immunologist, Manhattan
We are seeking a qualified physician scientist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. He or she will be practicing in one of the premier departments in the country. We have an open position for a Radiation Oncologist with formal training in Immunology to foster innovative therapies in the clinical interface in an environment that encourages collaborative team science. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop an independent research program focused on immunology or immuno-oncology. Radiation Oncology practice experience is preferred.
Our department spans 10 campuses across Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester, and Connecticut. All our campuses are well integrated with shared QA, physics, chart rounds, clinical trial availability, and MSK infrastructure and support.
The group collaborates strongly with the Medical Physics Department, pharmaceutical companies, and multiple laboratories for translational studies.
M.D., completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology; and Board certification is required. PhD in Immunology is preferred. Applicants must also be able to obtain licensure in New York and New Jersey without restriction. Applicants with MD licensure from non-US countries are open to apply.
