MISSION STATEMENT The mission of The University of Texas M. D. SUMMARY Assists in the design, coordination and implementation of Imaging Physics' Industry Strategic Partnerships Programs. This position will work with the division to integrate industrial alliances partnered with departmental initiatives. The position will work with department leadership, department faculty and faculty in multiple other departments across the institution to execute projects partnered with industry entities. KEY FUNCTIONS Coordinates Imaging Physics' Industry Strategic Partnerships Program. Identifies partnership opportunities dealing with the interaction of GE, Siemens and other large corporations with departmental faculty and divisional input to realize technology initiatives. Assists with preparation of reports and other documentation required for business plan. Work with the division on input into new alliances and coordinate with the institutional staff in the Strategic Ventures Program. Administratively coordinates the various steering and staff meetings related to this Program. Supports prioritization of program tasks and develops timelines. Presents programmatic progress in oral and written presentation and graphical formats. Assists with the coordination of departmental working groups facilitating collaborations. Work with key stakeholders on achievable benchmarks and metrics for the various proposed alliances. Assists in the creation and update of policies and procedures. Assists in the development tools and resources for integrating faculty partnerships with industry and also inter divisionally. Ensure programs initiatives and projects meet institutional requirements and regulatory program requirements, as needed. Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's degree. Three years project/program coordination experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
