Professorship (W3) for Organic Chemistry
INSTITUTE OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY I AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY
We seek to appoint a scientist (m/f/d) with a research interest in an exciting and innovative field of current Organic Chemistry, including organic synthesis with a focus on catalysis, e.g. for the preparation of biomedically active compounds or functional molecules. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary research initiatives of the Chemistry Department, especially the CRC 1333 on ""„Molecular Heterogeneous Catalysis in Confined Geometries"", and to teach Organic Chemistry to students on the Bachelor, Master and PhD level from degree programs in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Materials Science and neighboring fields.
