Professorship (W2) of ‘Theoretical Evolutionary Biology’


is to be filled as soon as possible.


The newly established professorship is based in the Biocenter and will be integrated into the Center for Computational and Theoretical Biology (CCTB). The CCTB is a member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDAS), which is part of the Bavarian High-Tech agenda at the University of Würzburg. The applicant should have a strong track record of both research in and teaching of Theoretical Evolutionary Biology, and thereby strengthen the scientific focus of the faculty. Experience in procuring external funding and establishing interdisciplinary research collaborations is expected.
