Professorship for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine (W3)

This professorship is linked to the position of the head of the Institute of Physiotherapy. The successful candidate (m/f/d) should represent the field in research, teaching and medical services.

JUH is seeking a scientific expert in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine. The appointee should strengthen the research focus ‘Aging and age-related diseases’ of the Medical Faculty. Duties comprise secondary prevention, interdisciplinary clinical diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of physical impairments.

Requirements include university degree in medicine, doctoral thesis, postdoctoral thesis (Habilitation) or equivalent scientific qualification, a relevant board certification (preferably of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and teaching skills. The candidate should have an outstanding track record in publications and extramurally funded research.
