Professorship for Neuropediatrics (W3)
The Clinic of Neuropediatrics belongs to the Department of Paediatrics. The person to be appointed will represent the subject in research, teaching and patient care. It is expected that he/she strengthen at least one research focus of the Medical Faculty.
Requirements include postdoctoral thesis (Habilitation) or equivalent scientific qualification, board certification of Paediatrics (focus Neurosurgery), teaching skills as well as the willingness to contribute to the medical education. The candidate should have an outstanding track record in publications and extramurally funded research.
We are looking for a person with strong scientific leadership qualities and administrative skills. Furthermore, sensitivity and openness to economic matters and participation in the development process of JUH are expected.
In accordance with the decision of the German Ministers of Cultural Affairs (Kultusministerkonferenz) of 19.11.1999, the responsibilities regarding clinical care will be regulated by a separate contract establishing a performance-based pay with constant and variable components.
