Professorship for Hepatology (salary scale W2)

The successful candidate (m/f/o) should represent the field in research, teaching and medical services. An integration in the research foci of the Medical Faculty will be expected.

JUH is seeking an internationally visible expert in pathophysiology and pathobiochemistry of acute and chronic liver failure. The appointee should strengthen the Liver Transplant Center and Infectiology at the JUH. In addition, experiences in the conduct of clinical studies are explicitly expected.

Requirements include university degree in medicine, doctoral thesis, postdoctoral thesis (Habilitation) or equivalent scientific qualification, board certification of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, teaching skills and leadership competence. The candidate should have an outstanding track record in publications and extramurally funded research.
