Dr. Vassilis Koliatsos

Highly motivated postdoctoral candidates are invited to join the laboratory of Vassilis Koliatsos at the Division of Neuropathology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Research focus in the Koliatsos Lab is mechanisms of neural injury and repair, with current emphasis on axonal injury/degeneration and axonal protection. Our disease emphasis is traumatic brain injury and related neurodegenerative diseases.

Candidates with a doctoral degree and strong background in cellular and anatomical neuroscience or experimental neuropathology are encouraged to apply. Experience with in vivo procedures, state-of-the-art neuroanatomy and microscopy is essential. Experience with molecular neurobiology is highly desirable.
