As German Research Center for Environmental Health, Helmholtz Zentrum München pursues the goal of developing personalized medical approaches for the prevention and therapy of major common diseases such as diabetes mellitus, allergies and lung diseases. To achieve this, it investigates the interaction of genetics, environmental factors and lifestyle.
The ICT department supports renowned researchers of Helmholtz Zentrum München in a vibrant international environment with all aspects of a modern, future-oriented IT and office infrastructure. In cooperation with highly dynamic and innovative research teams, we realize applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. Digitization is therefore a strategic guiding principle for the development of the Center.
For the Digitization & Applications group, the Information and Communication Technology department is looking for a
Process Manager – Digitization (m/f/d)
you transform (partially) manual and analog processes into easily digitizable processes in cooperation with the process ownersyou control and manage digitization projectsyou are responsible for the close involvement of scientists as data producers and users of the data repositories together with expert information managersyou analyze and plan information logistics for research datayou model the information logistics and design and implement the framework conditions (e.g. information logistics infrastructure and control mechanisms).you record and document processes in administration and science managementyou support the implementation of processes and workflows
you have a technical or scientific university degree with very good IT knowledge or adequate professional experienceyou have many years of experience in managing complex IT projectsa pronounced understanding of processes and technology characterizes youyou are proficient in project management methods such as Scrum, PRINCE2proven experience in information security and data protection (preferably with certification) as well as ITIL knowledge are of advantageyou can work independently, creatively, and structuredyou have strong analytical and conceptual abilities to think and actyou solve problems reliably and competentlyyou have a pronounced ability to communicate, cooperate, and work in a teamyou have good language skills in German and English
