The Institutes of Brain Science (IOBS) at Fudan University, Shanghai, China, has undergone rapid transformation since its inauguration in 2006. After the State Key Laboratory of Medical Neurobiology (SKLab) added its might in 2010, the combined IOBS/SKLab, with nearly 70 talented principal investigators including two members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has strengthened its distinctive role in boldly driving interdisciplinary research and bench-to-bed translation—supported by projects from China’s Central Government and Shanghai Municipal Government.
Committed to deepening the understanding of brain functions and accelerating the development of novel therapies for major nervous system disorders, IOBS/SKLab takes on cutting-edge research to learn the basic principles of sensory neurobiology, define the mechanism of higher cognitive functions, and develop next-generation treatment for major brain disorders. We are now seeking outstanding candidates in the fields of neuroscience and neurological disorders for the following positions:
1. Principal Investigator
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with at least 3-year postdoctoral experience, approved track record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications, and the capacity to develop a vigorous and independent research program.
2. Postdoctoral Research Fellow
