Huaxi Magnetic Resonance Research Center (HMRRC)
The Huaxi MR Research Center (HMRRC) was established in 2005 under the Department of Radiology of the university hospital , and is administered by an internationally recognized team in the field of radiology (https://www.nature.com/articles/d42473-020-00027-w). HMRRC is an open research platform with high field magnetic resonance imaging as the core established by West China Hospital of Sichuan University. HMRRC, with the advantages of basic and clinical medicine and Related Interdisciplinary research, cooperates extensively with well-known research institutions at home and abroad, gathers many interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research experts, and jointly carries out frontier scientific research aiming at the basic and clinical application of magnetic resonance. The goal is to build an important base for innovative foundation and application of magnetic resonance technology, scientific research and clinical personnel training and international scientific research cooperation and exchange. HMRRC is seeking young and talented researchers to apply for the following position:
Postdoctroal Research Fellow (Psychoradiology)
Psychoradiology is a fast growing subspecialty in the field of radiology following the rapid advances in neuroradiology, and was first formally described by Lui et al (Radiology, 2016；281:357) ( https://www.amazon.in/Psychoradiology-Issue-Neuroimaging-Clinics-America/dp/0323708862). The appointee is expected to conduct independent scholarly research, supervise research assistants, submit grant proposals, and engage in some teaching duties. He/She is also expected to assist in the establishment of the Institute.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree or equivalent qualification in the psychoradiology related subjects including radiology, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychiatry, as well as medical imaging (Magnetic resonance imaging in particular), engineering, computing science, etc.
The position is initially for three years with the possibility of extension to tenured faculty position subject to the academic output. The appointment will be made dependent on relevant qualifications, Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
