The Apostolou group at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City is looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for molecular biology and the drive to address fundamental questions of how cells choose or lose their fate. Our group employs cutting edge chromatin topology and molecular biology assays combined with advanced tools for genetic and epigenetic engineering to dissect epigenetic mechanisms that dictate gene expression and cell fate in the context of normal development or tumorigenesis.
Our laboratory is located in the Belfer Research Building of the WCM Manhattan campus equipped with state of the art facilities. We enjoy being embedded in an exceptional academic environment and a highly collaborative research community with interdisciplinary experts within WCM and nearby institutions.
We are looking for dedicated and talented scientists with:
- Collaborative spirit and passion for innovation
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Documented expertise in two or more of the following fields: molecular biology, biochemistry, mammalian cell culture, microscopy, epigenome analysis and bioinformatics.
Please visit the www.apostoloulab.com webpage for a detailed description of our research goals and environment.
Applicants should send a letter of interest, their curriculum vitae and contact information for at least two referees to email@example.com
