Our collaborative team of basic stem cell and clinical scientists at McLean Hospital and MGH has been working on molecular mechanisms of reprogramming, development, neuronal differentiation, as well as in vivo behavioral and surgical studies with the long-term goal of establishing personalized cell therapy of Parkinson’s disease (e.g., Cha et al., 2017, Nat. We are seeking highly motivated and outstanding scientists at the postdoctoral/instructor levels to advance our on-going basic and translational research in our new facilities at McLean and/or MGH. Successful candidates will have expertise/familiarity with molecular, cellular, bioinformatics, and/or developmental research using human ESCs and iPSCs as well as with cGMP cell products manufacturing, cell therapy process development, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) documentation, and development and implementation of quality control assays. The successful candidate will be proposed for academic appointment as a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
