Unique opportunity for Postdoctoral Researcher to develop novel diagnostic technologies and quickly validate and pilot in the end-user clinical environment. Seeking highly-driven and innovative-thinking candidates to join a cutting-edge translational research team. The research focus of the lab is to develop novel diagnostic technologies, with the aim of translating bench technologies to clinical applications, including but not limited to point-of-care, medical sensors and wearables. The goal is to use these technologies to enhance the ability to diagnose and monitor diseases earlier, more rapidly and more accurately. The research team will work at the intersection between engineering, nanotechnology, clinical diagnostics and medicine, with the unique opportunity to quickly test research products with clinical samples and pilot in the end-user environment.
The successful candidate will have strong background in engineering, nanotechnology or chemistry or medicine, and also a strong interest to pursue translational research geared towards application. Postdoctoral candidates should have PhD degree with biology or chemistry or engineering training, or MD degree with research training. Prior experience in the field of diagnostics is a plus but not required. Must be a self-driven individual with innovative and independent thinking. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
