Description of Position
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Nunzio Bottini at the University of California San Diego Clinical and Translational Research Institute. The laboratory specializes in the role of phosphatases in inflammation and autoimmunity. The project available is focused on the role of the PTPN2 gene in autoimmunity (see J. Clin. Invest. 2019; 129:1193-1210). Training in a range of immunological approaches and in assessment of mouse models of autoimmunity will be provided. The position is available immediately.

Qualifications Required/Academic Background
Candidates must have obtained within the last three years or be close to obtaining a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in immunology or a related field. At least one first author publication in an international peer-reviewed journal is required.
