Postdoctoral Research in Cancer Biology, Cancer Immunology and drug development: Houston, Texas
Three Postdoctoral research positions in cancer biology, cancer immunology and drug development are immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Haifa Shen at Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, Texas 77030, USA. The research group embraces a multidisciplinary approach to cancer research and cancer drug development, and has promoted multiple candidate therapeutic agents to various stages of drug development. The future post-doctoral fellow will be involved in one of the two major projects: (1) overcoming sequential biological barriers to enhance cancer drug potency (Nature Biotechnology 2015, 33: 941-951; Nature Biotechnology 2016, 34: 414-418), and (2) understanding molecular mechanism of anti-tumor immunity from particulate cancer vaccines (Cell Reports 2015, 11: 957-966). Detailed research description can be found at http://www.houstonmethodist.org/faculty/haifa-shen.
The ideal candidates must have a solid background in cancer biology, cancer immunology, or medicinal chemistry with experience in polymer chemistry. Strong first-author publication is a must. Fresh PhDs are encouraged to apply. Please send a CV, a letter of interest, and names and contact information of three references to: email@example.com
