The laboratory of Andrea Ablasser (https://www.epfl.ch/labs/ablasserlab/) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral scholars wishing to advance their research and career prospects. The research focus of the lab is centered on delineating mechanisms of innate DNA recognition – a pivotal sensing strategy during pathogen infection. The overarching goals of our research are to understand the basic principles of innate DNA sensing and to reveal its role for human health and disease (See recent relevant publications).
We are searching for ambitious postdoctoral fellows interested in joining our group. The envisioned project is funded by the ERC and requires skills in biochemistry, chemical biology or structural biology. Additional experience in cell biology or molecular biology is appreciated.
