(i) Developing genetic and epigenetic assays for detecting and classifying early cancer and recurrence directly from blood samples (i.e. liquid biopsy);
(ii) Developing and screening novel small-molecule drugs to measure target engagement, pathway modulation in cancer biology.
Applicants should have a Ph.D., with substantial recent research experience in some of these specialties: biochemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, cancer genetics, cell culture, molecular biology (including cloning), genomics, bioinformatics, protein interactions, fluorescence-based assays, pharmacology, liquid-handling robotics and/or automation in NGS, qPCR or digital PCR technology.
