Description of Duties:
The laboratory of Dr. Prasenjit Dey is seeking an enthusiastic and talented candidate for a postdoctoral research position in the Department of Immunology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The laboratory is broadly interested in cytokine biology, cancer metabolism and cancer therapeutics. Successful candidate will pursue an ongoing project to understand cytokine mediated metabolic reprogramming in pancreatic tumor. For publications see here.
The laboratory will provide immense freedom and opportunity to the candidate to develop his/her own research program in areas of cytokine biology and TH2 cell-cancer cell cross-talk. We utilize genetically engineered mouse model (GEMM), human and mouse organoid model, functional metabolomics, multiplexed cytokine arrays to study the pancreatic cancer microenvironment. Candidates will have the opportunity to train in cutting edge technology that involves multiplex flow cytometry, Luminex based assays, functional metabolomics and cancer therapeutics.
Motivated individual with a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and a strong background in immunology, cancer biology, molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry or genetics are requested to apply. Candidates with experience in handling mouse are highly encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae and contact information of three referees to email@example.com
