An NIH grant funded Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Wei Li in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tennessee. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be working with medicinal chemists in the Li lab in developing patented small molecule compounds as potential treatment for metastatic breast cancer or pancreatic cancer. Highly motivated applicants with a strong background in biological aspects of drug discovery, xenograft and PDX models, and other standard cancer biology techniques that would like to work in a rich and collaborative research environment will be considered.

Ph.D. in the general fields related to cancer biology and small molecule drug discovery.
Demonstration of experience by first author published papers in the cancer research field is required.
