Medicinal Chemistry postdoctoral fellow position
A NIH grant funded Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Wei Li in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be working on the design and synthesis of new drug-like small molecules. Highly motivated applicants with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and biochemistry that would like to work in a rich and collaborative research and training environment will be considered.
Dr. Li’s lab is located on the fifth floor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Campus in Memphis, Tennessee. Excellent facilities and career development opportunities exist for postdoctoral fellows in the department and across campus.
Ph.D. in chemistry, medicinal chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences with a strong publication record in the field.
Demonstration of experience by first author published papers in the chemistry field is required.
